Well not a lot has been happening to the car, we have some plans for modifications to do before the next event but as always what we can do is limited by money.
I have managed to find a restored Mk1 fiesta shell so I am off this Saturday to have a look and maybe bring it back. This will mean that we have an excellent base to re-shell the car for next year.
The reg's have arrived for our next event the Fat Albert Stages, we need to sort out our entry a.s.a.p. as its filling up fast. I'll let you know when I confirm our entry into this event.

Well we survived Longcross with only a little bit of damage to the car, the report is up on the Reports page! Pictures are to come soon!
We have also been awarded the golden web award for 2002/3.

We have received the final reg's and were number 73 out of 75. Its a strange place for us to be as we have some seedings but still I don't mind at all. The car is almost ready, just a few things left to do. We had some website address stickers made up and these have now been stuck on to the car. I took some pictures of the car today and its looking quite nice, it probably wont after the weekend though.

Well the next event is looming larger every day. At least this time round its not as hectic as the last 2 times. The car might even look nice this time out. I have added a page for the teams mechanic and a sponsorship page, so if you are able to help the team with some financial backing it would be much appreciated.

Our testing session at Brooklands went very well indeed, a number of problems we had were fixed and the car has been set up. The rear brakes are no longer locking up under braking and so we should have a lot less spins this time out. I even got a chance to drive around some of the famous banked curves that are left at Brooklands. Now all there is left to do is give the car a service, check all the nuts and bolts are tight and give her a good clean.

Well updates are coming in faster than I can type. The brakes are now sorted, a big thank you to Rob from the XROC for helping looking for some calipers. The tracking has been adjusted by Charlie Browns in Iver (good bunch of blokes there) and the only thing left to do before our testing tomorrow is to tune the carbs.

We moved the car to my Dad's house today because he has a bigger garage than mine and working on the car is made so much easier. The radiator is now fitted and looks very good. we are in a bit of a panic because the car has no hand brake cables and I discovered today that the car needs this to pass scruitineering. It's a worry because the calipers we use in her at the moment cannot accept a cable so we need new calipers. XR4x4 calipers will do the job properly so we are on the lookout for a pair. We should have some by tomorrow but they need to be fitted by Thursday lunchtime for our testing time. The other side of it is the car passed its MOT with the hand brake set up it has so its a pain in the @rse to have to change it now.

I took out the old radiator today and trial fitted the new one, it should do the job. its a little bit bigger than the old one as you can see in the photos. I also took some pictures of the strut brace fitted to the car.

I've booked Brooklands for a shake down test this coming Thursday, the car is coming along slowly because of the weather and other commitments and I just hope it will be ready. I will fit the new radiator tomorrow, its a bit bigger than a standard one and should keep the water temperature at about 85°C during the stages. I'll post some pictures of it tomorrow.
